(Fazl) Also in Fawad al-Fawad, it is written with reference to Sultan al-Mashaikh that Sheikh Jalaluddin stayed in Delhi for a short time and then left there. The connection was established. Fazil (12) and now I am silver, I don’t know what I will become in the future. It is also written on the same occasion that Sheikh Jalaluddin Tabrizi, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
One day during the time of Badayin’s residence, he was sitting on the porch of his house and a curd seller passed by with a curd queen on his head, who was actually a thief and a drunkard, and other members of his group were in the neighborhood of Badayin. He looked at the face of Sheikh Jalal-ud-Din Tabrizi and with a single look, his inner being changed and when the Sheikh looked at him carefully, he said, “The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace.” There are also such people in the Ummah, (whom the inner qualities of a person change by looking at them. Fazl 12) and he immediately became a Muslim by the hand of the Holy Prophet, you changed his first name to the Islamic name “Ali”. Diya, after becoming a Muslim, he went to his home and brought one hundred thousand jabeel (a type of coin) from home and presented it to the Shaykh, the Shaykh accepted his offering of love and ordered to keep this cash with him. And I gave it to whoever I said, because you started distributing this cash, you used to give 100 to someone, 50 to someone, less to someone, more and no one less than 5 jail, in a short time all the money was gone and Qasim has only one mile left, this Ali says that it occurred to me that I have only one mile left and the Shaykh does not order to give less than five miles to anyone, if now you give it to someone. (He says that) I was just thinking (this) when a fakir came and asked, and the Shaykh ordered me to give him a jabeel. It is also written in the same book that When Sheikh Shahabuddin Suhrawardi, may God bless him and grant him peace, returned from Hajj, the people of Baghdad gathered around him, and each one of them offered money, cash, goods, etc. in his service. In the meantime, an old woman appeared and presented to the Shaykh a dirham, which the old man had untied from the knot of his old cloak in front of the Shaykh. He placed it prominently, then addressed all those present and started saying that each one of you should pick whatever he wants from the pile of gifts according to his own choice. And another type of cause was taken up, that
Sheikh Jalaluddin Tabrizi (may God bless him and grant him peace) was also present on the occasion, and Sheikh Suhrawardi, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to him that you should also take something you like, so Sheikh Tamrizi, may God bless him and grant him peace, took the dirhams that had grown. Sheikh Suhrawardi saw this and said to Sheikh Jalaluddin that you have taken everything. It is said by people that Sheikh Jalaluddin Tabrizi and Sheikh Bahauddin Zakaria, may Allah have mercy on them, have traveled many times together. Once these two elders reached a city, Sheikh Fariduddin Attar, may Allah be pleased with them, was also present in that city. Sheikh Bahauddin Zakaria, may God bless him and grant him peace, had this rule that when he visited a new place, he would engage in worship after arriving there, and Sheikh Jalaluddin Tabrizi would go out for sightseeing in the city. Sheikh Tabrizi, Sheikh Seeing Farid-ud-din Attar sitting in one place, he was shocked and surprised to see his greatness, then he returned to his place of residence and said to Sheikh Baha-ud-din that today I have seen a Shahbaz who amazed me. In response to which Sheikh Bahauddin asked, did you put the beauty of your Sheikh and Murshid in front of you at that time? So Jalaluddin Tabrizi, may God bless him and grant him peace, said that seeing this elder, I forgot everything. After that day, Sheikh Jalaluddin Tabrizi and Sheikh Bahauddin separated from each other.
It is also written in the same book Fawad al-Fawad that Sheikh Jalaluddin Tabrizi, may Allah have mercy on him, wrote in a letter to Sheikh Bahauddin Zakaria, may Allah have mercy on him, that he who has many wives never reaches his goal and whose heart is industrious. He is a writer in the world, he is a slave of the world, Hazrat Syed Muhammad Gesu Daraz has written in his collection “James Al Kalam” that Sheikh Fariduddin Masood Ganj Shakar used to remember God a lot during his childhood. Because of this, people used to call him a mad Qazi Bacha. Once, Sheikh Jalaluddin visited Multan and asked the people there if there was any dervish here. People said that there is a crazy child who is lying in the Jama Masjid, Sheikh Tabrizi came to the Jama Masjid to see this boy and gave a pomegranate from his possession to the child, because he was fasting that day. It was Therefore, he took out pomegranate seeds and distributed them among the people, and one of these seeds had fallen on the ground, picked it up and broke the fast with it in the evening. He himself has said that if I had eaten the whole pomegranate, I would have received many benefits. When the boy became young, he became a disciple of Shaykhul-Islam Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki, may God bless him and grant him peace, so he narrated this incident to his Shaykh. What Farid was was only in that one grain, which was left for you. All the clothes were old and torn, when the wind blew, Sheikh Shaikh Shakar used to cover his tattered pajamas with the hem of his Abba (shirt). When the fakir was studying in Bukhara, he did not wear any clothes for seven years, but he had a towel to hide his body, bring the heart to one center and see what will happen in the future, Sultan al-Mushaikh used to say. That the heartfelt wishes of Sheikh Jalaluddin were fulfilled by Baba Faridganj Shukar, the shrine of Sheikh Tabrizi (may God bless him and grant him peace) is a special and common reference in Bengal.
