Hazrat’s real name is Habeeb yaar khan, Born in Hyderabad. Caliph of Hazrat Mohammed Hafiz Ali shah Khairabadi Rh.

Hazrat habib ali shah lineage is traced back to Abu Bakr, the first Caliph of Islam. Hazrat’s ancestors were Sufi masters. From Syedna Abu Bakr Siddiq Razi Allah hu anhu, the forefathers of Hazrat Khaja Habib Ali Shah obtained the spiritual education (Tassawuf/Tariqat) and bestowed with Caliph from their fathers.

The shrine is located in abides katalmandi mosque is attached to the shrine. khankha is constructed between shrine and mosque.

Poet

Hazrat wrote poetry in Hindi, Urdu, and Farsi (Persian). Qawwals still sing his poetry of Hindi, Farsi, and Urdu. His poetry contains an homage to his Pir (Master) and other Sufi Saints of his orders, such as Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani and Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti of Ajmer Shareef, India.

{Hamari Kuch bhi Nathi Haqeqat, Tumhare Dar se mili hein Izat,

Kharab hone na dejo Sahib, Tumare dar ka bana huwa hun}

Hazrat  habib ali shah established Khanqas in several cities of India. Hazrat was the focal point for the people from various religions, caste, creeds, colours, languages. They obtained his advice in spiritual development and understanding Islam correctly. Hazrat used to conduct lessons on dars Quran and Hadees Nabawi. 

Habib ali shah placed great attention on the acquisition of knowledge of Sharia and the intricate teachings of Tariqah. Lessons were not only given from the classical works of Aulia Allah such as “Fasusu Al Hikam”, “Ruh Ar Arwah”, “Mathanawi Shareef Moualana Rome rh”, “Jazb al Qulub”, “Kash al Mahjoub of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh rh”, “Kashkol-e-Kalimi of Hazrat Shah Kaleem Ullah Shahanjebad wali rh” and various other classical works but Hazrat explicitly taught some of his books such as Habib ul Talibun at the Khanqah.

He wrote 30+ books in various languages but is now being translated into Urdu and English by his disciples.

He designed the syllabus and methodology for the teachings in Khanqas, which are still practised and admired. A conceivable module of “Theoretical Tasawwauf” could read like this, and then a practical approach is done by the master himself for disciples.

Aqiqadah of Ahl Al Sunnah wal Jamaa’h

Dealing primarily with the contentious issues such as Tasawassul, Nida, Nadhr, Visitation of the Tombs of Awliay Allah, Urs of Awliay Allah are well defined in Habibul Inam.

The Etiquette of Discipleship:

Respect, character development, conviction (yaqin) in the Murshid (Master), proper modes of conduct, basic house rules at a dervish lodge are defined in Habib al Talibun.

Mujahada against the Nafs and Shaytan:

Fighting off evil directions, resistance to succumbing to the temptations of the ego, fighting carnal basal desires, anger management, evils of arrogance, envy, ostentation, backbiting, slander, gluttony, apathy, refraining from Haram are some of the topics that “Habib un Nasf fi Raddil Khnnas” and “Habibul Inam” speeches.

Character Building & Personality Development:

Trimming one’s behaviour, speech, actions, imbuing sincerity, humility, tolerance, compassion, consideration for the welfare of others, gratitude, patience are all fundamental lessons that “Habibul Muridin” debates.

Spiritual Practices

Invocations, Nafl Salah, specified prayers Adhkar, Ashgal, meditation, and the mode of its performance, catch of and obstacles in the path are introduced in “Habibil Awrad” and “Habibul Adhkar”.

Mystic Poetry and Literature:

Besides Mathnawi of Moulana Rumi, Diwan-e-HabibHabibul IrshadFawaid Al FuadAwarif al Marif are widely read and studied books.

Annual Urs is celebrated each year.
